Effective April 1, 2025
- The contribution rate to the Resilience and Regeneration Fund increased from 0.1% to 0.25% for all self-employed persons and employees.
- For employers, a new contribution rate of 0.25% has been introduced.
- These changes came into effect on April 1, 2025 for monthly paid employees and April 7, 2025 for weekly paid employees. Employers will be required to match the full amount of their employees’ contributions.
- The NIS earnings ceiling on the Resilience and Regeneration Fund is not applicable therefore the rates related to this new fund are calculated on gross wages and salaries.
- NIS related Earnings should continue to be submitted up to the maximum NIS earnings ceiling which is $5,280 for monthly paid employees and $1,219 for weekly paid employees.
MANUAL SUBMISSIONS

The following changes should be made:
- Gross earnings should be reported. (1)
- Total earnings per Earnings Type up to the current Earnings Max labelled (2).
- Resilience and Regeneration Fund Gross Earning total labelled (3).
- Earnings should be rounded to the nearest dollar.
ONLINE SUBMISSIONS
Continue Earning Submissions noting that gross earnings should be reported.
The following recommended payment options are as follows:
- Cash, cheque, debit/credit card (Accounts Section, National Insurance Office).
- Direct Bank transfer via Republic Bank. Details can be requested via the NIS website by selecting the Support button and completing a Support Ticket Request for Support type “NISSS Bank Details (Contributions)”.
- CIBC Caribbean (Bill payment option).
- The NISSS will advise when payments via the EZPay+ payment option would resume.
