The National Insurance and Social Security Service (NISSS) advises that payment of the one-time $300 Solidarity Allowance starts today, May 14, for individuals 18 years and older whose bank or credit union details are already registered.
For those not yet registered, payments will begin from May 21, 2025.
Registration Deadline:
May 30, 2025
Where: Selected Post Offices and the NISSS.
Documents Required for Registration:
- National Identification Card (preferably the Trident ID Card)
- Bank statement header showing branch and account number (if applicable)
- Current residential address (if no bank account)
- TAMIS number (if registered with the Barbados Revenue Authority)
