Are you a student, aged 16 to 25, enrolled full-time in an approved educational institution and receiving the Survivors’/Death Benefit? If so, you no longer need to submit a verification letter from your institution. That’s because the NIS has introduced the Educational Status Form to make it more convenient for you. This form must be completed ONLY by your educational institution and MUST be submitted and dated following the start of the school term or semester.
